I have been painting and decorating since 1988 when I began a four year apprenticeship with a very reputable company in my home town of Dundee. Remarkably after nearly 30 years I still thoroughly enjoy my job and actively keep up to date on the many new products and changes in paints.

The current trend in favouring water based interior woodwork paints rather than traditional oil based have presented challenges for some in terms of leaving an excellent finish, however I believe with product knowledge and technique this is not a problem and I am happy to discuss the merits of both.
I pride myself on my attention to detail and always aim to leave the best finish possible.
For many years now I have been using the Mirka dustless sanding system. The benefits of this being that the dust is being continuously sucked away, sanding is virtually dust-free. This means quicker, cleaner and more thorough preparation.
